Charlotte Casiraghi holds a new version of the Gucci Flora Scarf.

Gucci released its third installment of its Forever Now international ad campaign featuring the ever-so-stylish It Girl, Charlotte Casiraghi. Charlotte is the model for the four-part series, already having appeared in the first two installments, now this one, and will commence with a fourth campaign later this year.

The campaign was launched last year in commemoration of Gucci’s 90th year.

The now iconic Flora pattern was first made for Princess Grace of Monaco.

The now-iconic Flora pattern was first created for Princess Grace of Monaco by Rodolfo Gucci in 1966.

Charlotte — the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, and granddaughter of the Icon of Glamour, Princess Grace aka Grace Kelly — was shot by the always-cool Gen X fashion duo Mert and Marcus, who are known for their edgy-sexy portraits of sophisticated, powerful women.

What I love most about the Forever Now campaign is the music: It not only sets the mood as you watch the behind-the-scenes action of a glamorous photo shoot, but the songs perfectly invoke a feeling that transports you to an American bar in Paris where the performer sings in English, but with that signature flirty, sexy, bouncy tone the French are known for — and it makes you want to run out and buy the tracks for your next party.

THE TRACK ON THE FIRST CAMPAIGN BELOW IS THE BEST YET:

Albeit Charlotte is a private citizen, not royalty herself — like it matters — she’s got the height and beauty for job, with our without her royal connections, but what makes her a stand-out is her innate sense of fashion: this girl never looks bad. In fact, she always looks crazy-cool, subtly utilizing the latest trends, mixing Urban Outfitters with Chanel effortlessly. Her unique personal style has garnered her a spot on Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List several times, most recently last year.

Unlike blah Kate Middleton, who at 30 years old, has sort of/kind of had one job in her life, for all of one year … well, besides the nearly 10-year tedious job of waiting and waiting and waiting to obtain her one-and-only goal in life to never work again (William finally put a ring on it), Charlotte works as an editor for several different magazines and newspapers and is the founder of the fashion magazine Ever Manifesto, a free publication on the fashion industry’s harmful impact on the global environment and to promote sustainability in fashion, saying “It’s only recently that I’ve questioned the way that I’ve been consuming. I haven’t been as conscious as I should have been.”
