Ease into Monday with Phil Collins

WE’VE BEEN WAITING

FOR THIS MOMENT

It is often said that it only takes one song to bring back a thousand memories, so when Phil Collins recently announced he is coming out of retirement, my brain took a stroll down musical memory lane.  And, to this day, I still regret not making it to a “Phil Collins: No Jacket Required” party a few year ago. Sigh.

Anyone who has felt the healing power of music, or has read any of the new science behind the cognitive benefits it provides to humans, knows that there is a spiritual connection this art form.

Suffice to say the world will be a better place with more music from this talented singer-songwriter-musician-genius who has left an indelible mark on our hearts and souls.

And to the haters that say Phil is not relevant: ESPN is currently running a commercial using his song to promote the first face-to-face meeting between Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, and Clippers center, DeAndre Jordan, after their back-and-forth, soap-opera, break-up drama.
