He’s back in a good way. No bad press. No sad story. Just good music.
Dharma Protocol’s newly released dance-house single stands out from the crowd with the still-amazing voice of Boy George in the self-empowerment track ‘Coming Home’.
The sum of Dharma Protocol is George with a mix legendary producers: Culture Club’s Mikey Craig, Moto Blanco’s Danny Harrison and The Orb’s Youth.
George is currently working with Mikey and Youth to complete a full album titled ‘This Is What I Do’ and ‘Coming Home’ is from those same sessions.
There will be nine mixes of ‘Coming Home’! “I wanted to do something for the dance-floor because I DJ every weekend all over the globe and right now I’m very excited about the direction dance music is taking,” George says.
BG says the self-penned “‘Coming Home’ is about returning to who you really are as a person. Some people grow further away from themselves as they get older, while others like me becoming who they are meant to be. Right now I feel very comfortable in my skin.”
His career has gone from the mountain top to the depths of the valley and to every unsavory place in between, so with these lyrics you can’t help but cheer on the guy, “I don’t know who I used to be, but every day I’m feeling more like me, I’ve been gone too long. I’m coming home.”
It’s a catchy tune..I could see myself driving home and singing this song….I love BG😎
